Design Academy Eindhoven - Kiki van Eijk Project name: The Family of Form
Project description Series of three vases made of glass and silver: Vaporise, Needlework and Bird's Nest. An ode to bric-à-brac items by using them as a jewel on a hand blown vase. In Vaporise, graphic and 3d elements form a symbolic reference to the beauty of old style perfume bottles; Needlework is a symbolic reference to the beauty of the cotton industry and Bird's Nest shows the beauty to the well known ceramic bird.
