Light Wind

Light Wind. photo: Ingmar Cramers

An outside lamp drawn from our home surroundings. The gently sweeping Dutch windmills were actually perfect generators of their own. With that in mind, we made this lamp. With every breeze it stores energy, enough to enjoy every summer evening until forever. Contemporary vs. traditional, art vs. functionality. Shaped by its function the big prop spans over one meter on each side. It is a self supporting light source that marks the landscape.

Material: high end sail fabric, stainless steel, wood
Size: 240x215x38 cm. Produced by ID Productions.

Lucky Charm

Even in these times silver tableware is shown as a centrepiece of the house, more than a functional object. As the cupboard's jewellery, it's put in a nice spot, polished now and then and put back again. The Lucky Charms are a ceramic centrepiece that expresses that fragile balance between centrepiece and functional object. It is perfectly usable. if you break the chain. The pieces can be individually combined to make a smaller or larger chain and assemble your own collection of tableware.

Material: ceramics
Size: variable
Produced by: Cor Unum ceramics i.c.w Stedelijk museum Denbosch.
